The pieces are quite difficult to recignize. The table and board are nice.

In the first image, the pieces are WAY too tall for the squares.

Very true, slight mistake there. As to the size of the pieces, I deliberately went 'ott' with them - I wanted them to be big.
I've been trying my hand at 3D modeling lately and came up with these renderings a few days ago - don't know what ppl will think of them...
