Longest checkmate problem in history

A bit snappier is 1.Rd1+ Bd4 2.e4+ Kd6 3.e5+ Kd5 4.c4#
Toying with the opponent for almost 300 moves can be fun, but in a rated OTB game I think I'd take the four-mover, lol.
The diagram misses a black pawn on e3.
Argh, you're right, I missed the pawn when setting up the diagram, thanks for pointing it out.
Alright everyone... just pretend it's there.....

But why would I "just pretend it's there" when I can just go to this instead?

You know you can edit your posts, and any diagram that is in them, right?

Pawn moves and captures reset it.
And interesting chess game when it comes to the 50 move rule
