I belive that the black king in the position puts up a tough defence, skips a turn, and feasts on beef jerky with BBQ flavors.

I wonder what the world will be like in the year 2222. Will Earth even exist? Will humans live on other planets?

"Will Earth even exist?"

Most likely, yes. We will probably find a way to have cheap, eco-friendly energy across the world, preventing pollution. In the event of a nuclear war, since weapons would be upgraded, parts of the world may be to radiated to live in, but the majority of the world would be livable.

"Will humans live on other planets?"
If all goes well, there will be no need to.

(What exactly does this have to do with chess again?)

On other planets or moons in our solar system I think is likely. Big question is "will anyone still be playing chess?"

It's fairly likely, considering that chess is thousands of years old. If it can still exist through that much time, I don't think 200 years would make much of a difference.

The BIG Idea is what happens during stalemate.
