I need help analyzing this game. What were the mistakes made by black and furthermore what were the biggest mistakes for white. Also if you have any tips on my game, please let me know.

. I will show you what I had in mind after next move.

2. e5?! this gives black immediate equality on turn 2 by reaching quite a good french defense by 2. ..c5 or 2. ..Bf5 which I think is an improved french. 2.exd5 is basically the only playable  move here.

5. Be3? The move just looks terrible.  The bishop is badly misplaced and there is no threat. White is actually not taking on c5 because e5 hangs and the center is gone.

7. ..f6? is a bad move because you are not threatening to take on e5 as that favors white. And about stopping the knight to g5 you didn't need because because how about you let him play Ng5 and then you play f6? Another consideration is do you have to play f6 now? Can't you play that like 3 moves later and do you have better things to do?

7 ..Nh6 is much more sensible as that knight is just stuck and you would love to get it to either f5 or have it trade with the bishop if Bxh6. If you play the French you often have to play this move because often e7 block your bishop and the f6 square is covered

7. ..f6? basically forced 8 .. 0-0-0 which is very loose. You basically lost all your advantage and white is much easier to play with a much quicker attack. Just look at your kingside pieces and how long that would take to attack white, not to mention white is extremely solid there.

10. ..c4 does slow him down somewhat but does not stop b4 for long. White here went with the wrong plan. If white goes Nd2, Rfb1 and either b3 or b4 what will you do? Thats three big pieces down the a, b, and c files, and the bishops are looking there as well. Eventually white will breakthrough by a piece sac on c4 and I think black is just dead.

If white went 11. Nd2 you had to fxe5 for counterplay. Engine calls it slightly better for white and I think white is more comfortable because his pieces are more active and the king is much safer (there will be a minority attack but white will defend it quite comfortably with normal play. Black will need to play precisely so that he doesn't get steamrolled over or enter a bad endgame with plenty of weaknesses.)

After that white blundered a lot so black won.
