it's not mate in four, or doesn't have to be. when white captures blacks queen with it's knight, black can always delay things for a few turns with Nxc2+, then Nb4+... but otherwise, yea, it's mate for sure.

Yes, the puzzle is flawed. I believe this is the fastest forced mate:

1.Qa6+ Kb8  2.Rd8+ Qxd8  3.Nxd8 Nxc2+  4.Ka2 Rxa3+  5.bxa3 Nb4+  6.axb4  followed by 7.Qb7#

"You have to learn that when somebody geta a queen to take it only IF THERE ISNT A BETTER MOVE!!!"

That is the end caption

He's saying that you should only take the queen if there isn't a better move. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but it can be mate in two.

 1. Nexf6  Bxf6

 2. Qxc7#

Lorem: that could work, if black obliged, of course.

I think in these puzzles, we have to assume neither side is going to kick themselves in the pants like what Lorem pointed out. Blacks best move, as soon as they get free from a check themselves, is to check white with their Knight. So TonightOnly's 7 move forced mate is quickest.

Bxf6 isn't the only response to N4xf6 - taking the e6 knight prevents Qxc7#.

It seems to me that checkmate can be avoided by 3...Bxb2, at least temporarily.  There's one line I noticed that seems to nearly equalize black, but the others lead to a more drawn-out mate than listed in the original puzzle.

Edit: ...Bxb2, Ka2 negates further checks by black as well.

Random: again, lets assume neither side did anything totally dumb. after Bxb2+, it's not smart for white to take the bishop, as you suggest. white replies with Ka2 and it's a mate in 1 after that.

Randomprecision,

Black missed a 4. Rxa3 mate in your line.  And white should have played 3. RxBb2, but basically, I agree with you.  Black has possibilities.
