What happened with it? Was it already done and I missed it, or yet to come?

 Yep, here's the video. http://www.chess.com/video/player/ignoring-general-principles

GM Dzindzichasvili analysed the game, it was instructive and very amusing.

heinzie

Which game in this thread?

gorgeous_vulture

I don't think it was posted in this thread. I searched for the game but black is quite prolific and has lots of games and white seems to have disappeared (or Dzindzi has butchered the pronounciation Laughing)

Actually I've just noticed that the one I posted above was the third of three he analysed. Here are the other 2:

I haven't watched these two yet, some entertainment value for later.

Ok, I was looking for a title which would say something about member analysis... What are the other 2 games?

gorgeous_vulture

In all 3 videos Dzindzi analyses games submitted by chess.com members. The one I posted first is, in fact, the last in this series. The other 2 are the preceding ones

Kacparov

but which games are they?

I can't find them. In the first game he said the no player names were supplied. In the second, he mentions a player who is a member here but has no live or online games in their profile and a cryptically-named opponent, who he couldn't even pronounce. For the third, white seems to have deleted their account and black has a gazillion games

I rather enjoyed this game.

Kacparov

who's black there?

DanielRensch

Guys, thanks for your posts! KEEP posting!!! Any time we need Member Analysis, we will refer back to this thread!

heinzie

Is there a list kept of the games that actually have been analyzed?

DanielRensch

No heinzie, there isn't. All of our videos are saved on the server however. Good idea, and something we will look into though... Thanks!

Franquis

Here are my 2 cents. I especially like the ending. The finish was a thrill! Hope to be critiqued!

ATTENTION: Everyone who is still following this thread. Time for more games!!! WE want more member analysis auditions for some upcoming Dzindzi and Bojkov vids... You have one week to post all your games (and please, try to post ones that REALLY were interesting and hard fought on both sides, not just your miniatures Wink)...

Thanks

Danny

I did my own analysis and annotation of this game, and sent it to one of you awhile ago. If this game is chosen, I can re-send my analysis before the video is made, just let me know.

This is the other one that may be interesting:

At move 35, I thought I saw a win, instead of the draw I had been calculating. I had previously looked at moving my king to capture his a-pawn, but sa that his king could get there as fast as mine could, so I settled on blockading his c-pawn, and holding my kingside pawns with my bishop. Then I saw that my bishop could slow down his king, and my king could reach his a-pawn. I thought I had a win. I assumed my 3 kingside pawns, achored with my bishop on dark squares, would hold against his 3 kingside pawns and his king, without actually calculating the fact that he could make a passer. His 44...g4?? destroyed his winning channces, as far as I can tell.

Even  if our game's don't qualify do we still get the analysis of the games you guy's did?

Here's a couple of recent ones:

And, of course, my favorite is the one that my IM friend praised:
