Thoughts on Chess Tempo Database?

Sort:

I am starting to take chess more seriously and study openings and my games. I haven't yet worked out a solid way to go about it, however. As far as databases of master games are concerned, I've been using Chess Tempo (http://chesstempo.com/game-database.html). Is it worth paying for or is there something better?

Any suggestions generally on how to study?

http://www.shredderchess.com/online-chess/online-databases/opening-database.html is what I use to learn openings.

Also there is chessgames.com

ChessTempo is probably the best value for the money if you don't want to buy a big database package (ChessBase or ChessAssistant).

my thoughts are that 365chess is better than chess tempo.

Chess tempo is just good for the puzzles.  Excellent puzzles on chess tempo.
