I've been thinking about writing a small book aimed at junior and high school kids. Perhaps to include an instructor/coaches book. When done I'll likely distribute it for free on the Internet to help coaches and school teams get a set of coherent materials for starting up a team.
My main question is are there tools that help with modifying chess diagrams like showing arrows or boxes or circles on squares without having to take them to a second application to do so. If it could save that image to a graphic it would be marvelous.
