This game features a bishop sacrifice followed by a rook sacrifice, on two consecutive moves, in order to expose Black's king to mating threats and then to deflect the Black queen from the defense. There are also several other piece sacrifices "in the air" from about the 16th move onward.
Can Black play 18 ... f6, in an attempt to hold the extra pawn, without fatal consequences? Are there spots where White can improve on his play?
I enjoyed playing this game very much, not only because I was playing the White pieces, but also because it provided me the opportunity to conduct an extended attack that coordinated the movements of several pieces.
