1. f5! is sound. I like it. Seems like a tal move to get the ball rolling.Opposite side castling when sacrificing a pawn or 2 or even sometimes 3 is okay.
1... Kh7 white still has a strong attack with fxe6. 2.fxe6 3. Qg2!

2. Rxg looks very strong. If he tries to eliminate the bishop with Na5 you can play Rg5 Rhg1 and win the bishop. Otherwise you can simply play Bh6.
For this reason I'd say f5 is the correct move.
