I don't know, what kind of AI setup does Play Magnus have?

Apparently the developer programmed the AI by a compilation of games Magnus played at the given age so it is essentually you vs Magnus (age _ ).
I think Chessmaster tried to do that with the few Josh Waitzkin personalities in the program, but I don't know how accurate it was. Other than that, I haven't heard of any other programs that have tried it.
You could probably create your own opening books to simulate a player's opening phase, but I'd guess it would be a lot of work.
Is there a computer program that has a similar AI setup concept to Play Magnus? I like the style of Play Magnus more than any of the programs that I currently have but it is only for a phone as far as I'm aware and I would like to have a computer counterpart.
