Fine form! Work on the entry though - the splash was slightly asymetric.
Ah, the good old days. South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons. It brings back memories. Oh......... I think I'm gettin' all misty eyed now just thinkin' about it. Let me stop. Whoo, I'm ok now. Just got the sniffles.

There IS an old geezer chess team/group: it's called "Geezers"(!), and I'm a member. Age reqirements are 60 for men and 50 for women. (Everyone asks why -- it's just to help maintain a gender balance, since chess.com has fewer women.)
So check it out if you're interested!
Thanks for the posts.
As we age we begin to see that we are slowing down ( both in speed while running and also in thinking ). People do tell us that " it is the Early Bird who gets the Worm ". However it is also true that it is the SECOND Mouse who gets the Cheese ! So do you want an old worm or some nice Cheese ???
60 is too young. I don't want to hang around with kids.
I often feel the same way about people that age. They're always playing their so-called "music" too loud, and they never write thank you notes, and they won't speak up so I can hear them, and no matter how many times I shake my fist at them, they still won't get off my lawn!
Thanks for the posts.
A quote from Edward Young: Like our shadows, our wishes lengthen as the sun declines.
Thanks for the cute cartoon Chess_gg.
For some years now we have seen books being sold as guides for Dummies ( Golf for Dummies, Yoga for Dummies etc ). Also there are Guides for Complete Idots as well and now we have a new series for older folks. Yes the " Wrinklers Guides " are here complete with a drawing of a turtle on the cover. I've only seen a couple of titles so far but who knows, they might just catch on.
Clint Eastwood was born in 1930 , the same year my dad was born . I have always been an Eastwood fan and like his westerns better than the other stuff he has done , he is one of 3 very famous people I had hoped to meet someday , the other 2 have passed ....
Yes, I had his Josey Wales character as avatar for years . I also idolized Bruce Lee but he was taken from his fans far too soon ...
Clint's birthday is May 31 .
Oops, my bad. That means he's a birthday twin with my eldest Grandchild.
I recall back in my teen years anyone over 40 we referred to as " old geezers " , now I am one ! I also remember Ed Sullivan show and it was the first place I ever saw the Beatles and Elvis ! They would only show Elvis from above the waist ! LOL There were ooodles of westerns on back then and I liked several of them : Bonanza , Gunsmoke, The Rifleman , Wanted, Dead or Alive , Laredo and some I am sure I have forgotten .
