Im guessing that this is because you have previously played a LOT more games as black, so the system is giving you more white games until they are even, then you should see roughly the same number of black and white games.
color choice for new game

This is my first post on chess.com and I hope it's in the right category:
Anyway, I saw that recently you cannot choose the color (black or white) when you create a new game. My question is: what is the rule behind the color being assigned since it does not seems to alternate, I get white most of the times and then black sometimes!!! Incidentally, I like playing black.
