How to stop this opening

Recently, I’ve been getting this opening a lot, and I have no idea how to stop it before I lose my queen and basically blunder the game.

It’s the Italian game knight attack.

Does anyone know how to stop it?

Thanks!
DieRobotDie

Can you post a game example please?

Idk if this will help, but try to deploy your knights early to protect the pawn that, if taken with the white knight will result in a queen/rook fork.

Fried Liver?

There's a simple solution.

Chessbase must be smoking something strong. Or you've misread something. That h6 is an awful move, white is much better.

...h6 is perfectly playble. And besides the OP has a 400 blitz rating. Openings are not going to decide his games. Blunders are.

Yes, h6 is "playable" in a sense that the Bongcloud is playable.

What you said about openings and blunders is true. But that's not a good excuse for recommending a horrible move. Just to stop a move that's not even a threat.

...h6 has worked at the USCF A level in OTB tournaments, so I will trust experience. But to each is own.

Bobby Fisher might have a strong argument against this strategy.
