Karjakin's drawing streak could have been 21 games long now instead of 16 if Aronian had been a bit more cautious in the last round of the Candidates. His next chance to continue the streak will be in Norway next month.

Carlsen had a dig at Karjakin at his last press conference in Shamkir where he implied that Karjakin strangles the life out of games ..I think this is another example of gracelessness from the world champion who had 2 chances to beat Karjakin and couldn't do it. Karjakin knows it is better to draw than to lose.

Yes. And it's completely his fault the first time he played Karjakin. Carlsen tried Aronian's tactic to play fast when opp low on time. Fortunately didn't manage to succeed this way.
