Today a man sent me some very offensive pics and a message in fluent Spanish, as a "birthday gift". My father was around and saw it. He got so mad he almost slapped me. I'm forced to close the account, while I live with my parents I simply can't disobey them (and this time I'm even not sure I want).
I don't feel myself being so important to start a thread about this, but I was teached to never leave a place without saying goodbye, and, in some cases, giving a explanation.

This is why chesskid.com (even with all its limitations) WORKS for kids. Chess.com is an awesome chess site... but not for many kids (or women) who have to deal with the scumbags of the Earth. To count: I have lost (closed their accounts) 8 female member friends to these jerks. *Sigh*

There's an unfortunate reason women usually make avatars that are not pictures of themselves, and block all freind requests and IMs not from friends.
As a matter of fact, many of my female friends had to do just that... Change their avatar to something very gender neutral.

For years, the ads were appropriate. Recently Google got hacked with a lot of sex ads. Erik is trying to get this fixed. I'm guessing the father walked in to her room for any minor innocent thing, maybe to give her some mail, and happened to notice an ad. Jumping to conclutions, and assuming the worst about on-line trouble, he exploded, out of love for his child. Brfore she could explain, she thought it best to appese him.
