I'd think I'd just improve at a MUCH slower rate.
How good do u think u would be if there was absolutely nothng to help u improve?
What about other people to play with?
If it was just me, I'd probably stay same strength, maybe a bit weaker due to getting rusty.
everybody would be on equal terms. so I guess I would do even better. as it would be nessesary to come up with things yourself.
today everybody is prepared against virtual all opening and tricks
Actually, there is absolutely nothing what can help me to improve...
When and if I go to Spain, I will visit you and teach some chess.
I think, relatively speaking, I would be pretty good. Even before starting my study, I was pretty good. Just had a few annoying habits that prevented me from being better.
I got rid of some of those old habits, and have developed new trickier habits. Somehow, I think this means I'm improving.
For example, I used to leave pieces hanging just because I did not see they were under attack. Now I hardly leave pieces hanging like that. Now, I hang pieces because of bad plans. Somehow, I think this means I'm improving.
No book(s), no recorded game(s), no program(s), no video(s), no dvd(s)/film(s), no article(s), no tutor(s), no nothing! Just you with a chess set.
Feel's like u'd be back in the 1860's huh?! :-)
Well, how great do you think you'd be?
