How do you know that he has spammed the other 59,000 problems?
Why would anything he writes fill your in-box? Are you tracking him? Untrack him. It's not rocket science.

The things that people get as bent out of shape over as they do never cease to amaze me. Seriously, how does this in any way affect you?
I was wishing really hard that he would not appear in tt problems above 1400.Y_H_M has now spooked me.

Now it says 5 problems. I'm not tracking him. Learn how the TT comment section works first.

Every time you post a comment, the site automatically keeps you tracked for that tactic. That's fine if you wanted to read a reply, question, or insight to a problem.
Now you have a pages full of post that are nothing more than pure spam.
Is he sending you private messages everytime he tries a problem?
That's pretty weird, but well seen nuttier on the internet before :)
I've given up on Copperhead. I asked him a few times nicely to stop doing it and explained the reason but he ignores it. I've noticed that he features in the most active members of the day, and he has millions of member points, so perhaps that makes him feel good. Because of him and a few others, I now don't track TT comments any more. At least not for long. If there is one where I'm genuinely interested to hear the response to my comment then I track it until the first spam comment then I stop tracking. Maybe in v3 they'll add a filter of some sort. Perhaps allow you to block comments from certain members. Also it might be an idea to scrap the "member points" system, where you get a point each time you spam. Clearly this encourages anti-social behaviour in some people. It's a pity because there are some people who comment who are genuinely helpful. The spammers have ruined a really good feature of chess.com.
P.S. I doubt Mr Head's first name is "Copper". Anybody care to guess what it is really?
Wow. he is obviously using it to track which problems he has attempted. Then if he happens upon it again he will know that he has already attempted it.
And so will the rest of us! He's so diligent about informing us on his attempts! In fact he must be one of the top performers in "attempts" at TT problems.
"Less successful are "my" attempts "at" humour." (MrCopperhead)
"When will this site add a spam filter?" Well your not gonna find it in General Chess Discussion. Try here; http://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/admins-spam-alert-you-may-wish-to-check-this
I agree with hayabusahayate! If you don't like it, just ignore it. Why create a thread about it? He's just trying to learn in his own ways. Nothing wrong with it at all.
hahahahahahaha Ziggy started it. I'm just farting around. I never met Mr Head, I mean Copper, or snake or whatever
