Hello friends. Many Masters say to become a good player one must master Chess board. One must be able to follow game without using chessboard and answer questions like "How can knight on f2 go to f6 through d7?" without looking at board. My question is how to study board? How to develop a clear picture chess board in our mind?

I recently started studying board after playing 1000+ matches, improved only a little then I got inspired by blindfold chess played by many masters, so I thought inorder to be good player, we should reduce the dependency on our eyes, so that we can play with mind and eye should be used just as a reference.

I initially started studying diagonals, finished the black diagonals and will start white diagonals once I thorough with all the black squares. I used to imagine chess board and try to locate all the black diagonal whenever I get a free time.

I know this takes a long time to study but I am not bothered about time, anymore. It's fun to study, so I am doing it and my next plan after studying    chess board is playing with each individual pieces and figuring out their control squares without looking at the chess board.

If am successful with my plan of study, I am very confident that I can play chess more better way than my current level.
