I do not know my own strenght. Officially it is 1428, but some days I feel like 1800, and in som games I feel like 1200.
Is it very common to have very variable strenght? Does experience even it out?
Do you have very diffent strenght in different variations of different openings?
I have been training hard for 16 months, and also did play a year in a club 38 years ago.
Is it typical for ca 1400 Fide to be very variable?
I read a game today where the looser had 2198 Fide, but looked like 1800.
How much difference do you have, and what do you think is common?
