it would be interesting to see,

kasparov vs's ouchiata or kasparov vs's gonnosuke!

but im sorry, considering Kasparov gets at least a day per move, i think he would dominate on this site.. even the engines..

one of the top person on this site (one of the top) is rated 2300 FIDE..

Kasparov is what? 2851 personal best and atleast plays like a 2700+ nowadays.

These high end games may appear to be simple on the surface as far as moves, but i think there are layers that we cant even see or understand. I try to study watching famous games from grandmasters and the first thing i noticed is that no matter how powerfull they are, its still just 2 dudes playing chess.

... I dont know man, i think Kasparov is the most powerfull chess player (rating wise) as a person he is a bit of a douche, but none of us would stand a chance against him. Maybe i can beat him playing pool, monopoly or something tho. Maybe.

Yes, they would be beaten my members on this site, but I think that says more about the dishonourable nature of some members and not about the weakness of K or K.

Of the grandmasters and IMs on this site I would dare say that between them they do not have colectively even 20 wins against Kasparov (The great majority don't even have the rating to have played in a match with Kasparov)... much less some unknown unrated "high level" blitz player on chess.com

Reminds me of a story, about a famous GM (I think it was Bogolyubow, but I could be wrong) who refused to play a friendly game against an unknown guy on the grounds thst he is far too good for him.

The guy replied "How can you say I can't beat you, you don't even know me?"

The GM replied " If you could beat me, I would have known you"

That's pretty funny. "If you could beat me, I would have known you."

As noted above, none of the top players on this site could survive OTB against K/K. But, I bet that the top human/computer hybrids on this site (if there are any) could beat K/K in computer-assisted chess.

I haven't heard that one, but I've heard the one where Capablanca was apparently challenged to a game by some stranger. He accepted, but before the game took his Queen off the board. The exchange was then identical to that one..

You mean it's two incorrect myths taken from the same thing?
