The minimum/maximum rating settings don't work. I set it for over 1800 and I still get 1700s playing me. What gives?

I Putin settings as 50.50 .. I,m 630 and I get 785 players. I can,t play over 700. How do I set the rates?

In daily chess, I set the minimum rating 100-150 points below mine and then get paired with somebody 500 points lower, recheck the minimum and it says "any". I've reset it a dozen times.
