Yes! There is one "special move" in chess where two pieces move in one turn and that is "castling." Other than this, no chess move has two pieces move for a single player.

Like any skill, practice is key to improving at chess. Try to play regularly, whether it's against your dad, friends or online opponents. The more you play, the more familiar you'll become with different strategies and tactics.
