NEW unique concept group called "Play-it Forward"

Checkout a new concept group which I believe may be a first on chess.com. This group is for people who enjoy giving and helping people, making new friends, improving their chess game, and having a blast in the process. RATINGS ARE NOT IMPORTANT.

Wonderful.  This group will go live within 3 weeks.  I need some admins and technical people to help me out.  I promsie if we can make this work, everyone will have a blast, make new friends, and watch their rating improve.  FYI...I got this idea after taking private lessons from an IM coach on this site who used Skype and invited me to play unrated games or use game editor.  Please invite your friends who are willing to play unrated 15/10 games with Skype running in background for audio.  If people choose, they can use the video component to meet their new friends face-to-face which really is very cool.  Many people will make lifelong friends.

I like the idea of playing unrated games. Not only is it good for learning (don't have to freak out when you lose or make mistakes), but I actually enjoy chess more this way.

Whey you combine unrated games with Skype running in background, you will be able to share ideas with your opponent in real time discussing the reasoning behind certain moves.  Each player can ask opponent why he/she made move and logic behind it.  I was taking private lessons from one of the highest highest rated coaches on this site and he said this method of playing will dramtically increase your understanding of game and make everyone involved in group a better player and have more funin the process.  It's a real blast once you start playing games using Skype in background. My new coach will be joining this group so people will have the chance to essentially get free chess lessons when he is online and plays a few games with members of group.  "See" you soon.

Anyone else interstersted in helping me kick start this group. You will really enjoy how these games will work.  I learned this method from my private chess coach. The only difference is, you NEVER pay for lessons.

Let's do it.  I promise it will be a blast.

Will we play vote chess games? If so, can we have discussions on which move, and a no move until a move is decided rule?

Probably not in this group as there are 100s of groups that have team vote chess.   Did you go to this website to read about group?  It's unique and nothing like it on chess.com   www.playitforward.club

Trying to catch some late night Friday players who really gets this concept and wants to join club.  The group will go live as soon as we have 100 members and a "leadership council" made up of 5 or 7 members that will vote on all suggestions made by members.   There will be high rated players 1800 and above joining this group, and my chess coach who is an IM and well known coach with videos on this site will join once we go live.  What does this mean for players? You will play live Skype games/lessons against players of your level, players below your level and players who are experts and coaches.   Every single game played in this group is a free live chess lesson.  Doesn't make a difference if you are helping a lower rated player or getting a free lesson from a higher rated player.  Good Energy is passed in both directions.  Helping another human without anything in it for you but the enjoyment of giving is one of life's greatest gifts.  Same with the enjoyment of receiving.   They are equal. Just like black/white or on/off.  You need both in life. Can't be a giver without having a receiver and you can't be a reciever without having a giver.
