I have played several games where I get a perpetual and people start calling me an idiot and "not a real chess player" or even more aggressive things! What is the animosity toward perpetual check? Why do people start going crazy when you discover perpetual check.

This is one of the most tiresome subjects on the forums.  Apparently some people think it's "chickening out" somehow...rubes.

I didn't know that there were people who went crazy about perpetuel check. It is just one of the possibilities that can happen in a chess game. Any "real" chess player knows that.
