Real chess is the king's Indian Defense

According to me, the epitome of chess strategy and tactics are embodied in the spectacular of openings like the King's indian defense, at least at our amateur level. Maybe nimzo indian is popular at the higher levels but for club players nothing is more satisfying than a crushing King's indian attack!

The king's indian is often crushed by an london or colle system.

But only by people who don't know how to play against them - normal KID attacks don't work so well against Londons/Colles/Torres, but flexible attacks with c5/Qb6 or d5 ideas often work quite well. KID slaves often mishandle them and implode though.
