no one? :(
scared of 960

I am going to an OTB tournament later today, I am all set, i have my opening prep, i know what kind of middle games i will find myself in. I probably would start crying if the back rank pieces moved around when i'm not looking!
All the best for your tournament. BTW, we need to play 960 regularly so that our positional play and tactical play will improve and we also learn how to play without any book openings.

i don't use no book openings, i use internet openings!
Tactical play = tactics trainer thingy
Positional play = Boring GM (not the fancy shmansy GM's the boring ones)
Internet openings are derived mostly from opening theory.
When you solve tactics trainer, it is like we know that there is some tactic and try to find it. During the games, we dont know whether there is a tactic or not and we have to analyse and that is the major difference.
Good positional play results in good tactical opportunities, tactics are always based on position. So, good positional understanding is necessaary to execute the tactics!

well, i don't think my pieces will be up for the challenge of a tactic if they have HDAD and can't stay put for a few minutes!!

they are just telling you to mobilise them soldiers get bored/killed in trenches while being able to do nothing to stop the artillery order them out early power through the barbed wire and silence those guns you know it makes sense

lol exactly =D
960 is sooooooo glitched, the pieces keep moving around in the back rank! It is so random (look at my rating of 960) we all need to get together and tell the back rank pieces to stay put! who agree's whith me?
