Send SMS when time is running out?
You can set up e-mail alerts to do this, and most providers allow you to send SMS' via e-mail, so all you'd need to do is to change your e-mail address to the one that sends you an SMS and configure your alerts accordingly.
This would of course send all alerts to this address and none to your actual e-mail, so another option would be to keep your alerts as they are (assuming you're already getting the "imminent timeout" alerts) and to create a rule to autoforward only those alerts you're interesting in recieving as an SMS.

Good suggestion. I've set it so I get alerts at my Exchange email account, which I have on my phone...
