To whoever asked what the London System is :
White plays 1.d4, 2.Nf3 and 3.Bf4, usually something like 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 d5 3.Bf4. It is also known as the "Boring System", and for good reason. Basically White wants to restrict all forms of Black's counterplay. Objectively, Black shouldn't be worse, but in a practical setting, it's quite hard and annoying to play against.
Ah ok I see. But is it a widely used opening? Or more of a fun opening. I play the parham just for fun sometimes whenever I play my friends.
It's reasonably popular at club level, because of the practical results thing, but not at GM level, because of the objective evaluation thing.
No doubt it is the Hippo Attack. I've never seen such a ridiculous opening!
Hippo attack? I am looking that up lol
This is revolutionary
