Why no chessbase for Mac?

I don't see Macs as growing in popularity.. They are very expensive computers and remains out-of-reach of most people in the working and middle classes.
Why paying more than a thousand dollar for a small macbook air when you can have a decent PC laptop for about 500$ ?
That said, the best alternative for Chessbase on OSX (as well as Linux) is Scid or Stockfish.
Why don't they make chessbase for Mac? Mac's are really growing in popularity and a ton of people use them now. I know that some people use scid but chessbase or even fritz is the real thing. I know they tried it in 2009 or 2010 or something but they should really make one for macs.
