Board Won't Load Playing Against Computer

I go to play against computer, and I see the board.  It says "Loading."  It's said that for 15 minutes now.

The rest of my internet works fine, so it isn't lag.  I verified that I have the latest version of java so it isn't that.  Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I don't know... When I try to play v Computer, Firefox stops responding...

I can't, because apparently there is an 'insecure or expired jre' (whatever that means)

Kansha

Can you please try downloading the latest version of Java and see if this solves your problem?

Can someone please help me with the man vs. computer I'm getting no illustration at all. I've put in the updated new version of java and I followed all of the downloading instructions and it's still not working. I've went thru all of the java instructions as far as clearing the cache and certain temporary files that they ask you to delete. I have windows 7 and in the past normally when I update a new version of java, well I usually don't have a problem. So if someone would give me some advise it would be much appreciated.

There's a place to adjust your Java settings.  If you set the security to medium, it will let you play.  I think you should have some kind of Java control panel on your computer.  Then when you load the board it asks if you want to run the program.  Click "run" and you should be all right.  I hope.  Good luck.

I have a HP laptop, and my solution to my problem, man vs. computer was. I pay $14.99 a month to HP's, tech program, which I forgot I had at my disposel. I told them about my problem and they fixed my problem for me last month in minutes. I did try to do what you said about the java control panel solution, but it didn't work. Because prior to you telling me that, I followed all of java's information, as far as uploading their new program, and was unsuccessful. I do really thank you though for your help in checking back with me later, it is much appreciated. Thank you

I just tried my tablet and everything works fine for me, but then I'm a diamond member.  I just hit the "back button" (whatever you call that sideways triangle) a few times and I was right back where I started.  Sorry I couldn't help.
