Hi Scratchifier!
Those users are picked up by our fair play system for abandoning the game. It's annoying for sure, but those users are being restricted if that behavior is common.
The boards don't run on flash, actually :) Sometimes the sound glitch can be fixed by clearing your browser's cache! If you need assistance with how to do that in Firefox, let me know!
Firstly, I have a question: is it purposeful that somebody can disconnect from a game when there is less than 60 seconds on the clock and leave you hanging without getting reported to the staff for violating fair play? I was way ahead (8 points at the end of the game) and they quit with 52 seconds left on their clock, leaving me waiting... just a bit annoying but is there a way to report people like that or fix that loophole?
Anyway, now for the real glitch: sometimes, not all of the chessboard sounds load. But it's not a problem with my earphones, because just say the capture sound and the check sound play when needed, but the ordinary moving sound will not. This happens occasionally to all of the sounds. I am using Firefox and an occasionally updated version of flash (so I'm not considerably behind) in case that matters. (If the chess board even runs on flash :P)
Thanks for reading, I look forward to getting a response, and I hope this glitch report helps... because it's quite annoying when you're relying on a sound to tell you that it's your turn and then you miss like twenty seconds because you haven't realized. :P Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, or somebody reported this already; I'm very new to the forums (first post).
