Filtering by specific player

Is there a filter to prevent a specific player from accepting my seek?

Same guy, makes 4 moves then resigns or lets clock run, I have aborted several games with him before they start....so now I'm getting fair play reminders constantly.

How is it he's still playing?  Maybe bec. it's OK to resign after 4 moves but not OK to abort twice in one day.  Go figure.

How can I block another user?

You can do this from your 'Privacy Settings'. To get to 'Privacy Settings,' move your cursor over 'Home,' then select 'Account,' then choose 'Manage your Privacy Settings' This will lead you to this page: ( http://www.chess.com/home/privacy.html ) and you will see a section at the bottom of the page where you can enter a username to block.

Once blocked, a member cannot do any of the following:

  • post notes to your account
  • send you messages
  • accept your game seeks
  • be auto-matched with you in open seeks
  • join tournaments that you are running
  • post in content that you created

Sounds like free points to me.

No problem.  Sandbaggers are a pain.
