You have a networked broadband cable connection? Or are you using wifi?
What/who else is competing for bandwidth? If you are on a phone app, you might want to try closing other applications and pausing background updates that are using up your bandwidth.
If you are using a browser, Chess.com suggests clearing your cache and doing a hard refresh (f5)
