NO sound

I am not getting sound on chess.com. I have already tried the following:

1. Update flash player

2. Check sound settings on chess.com (are enabled).

3. Updated by browser

4. Restored browser settings.

I am using windows 7 operating system and google chrome. I get sound on al websites other than chess.com. How can i get sound on chess.com

A couple ideas occured to me: Have you tried using the site with a different browser? (Opera or Firefox). That could tell you right away if it is a browser issue or a software issue. Second, you mentioned you updated Flash, but, as far as I know, Flash doesn't matter on this site - What matters is Javascript. Make sure your Javascript is up to date. https://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

No problem! Now I would suggest that you uninstall Chrome and then reinstall it. Go to Control Panel > Programs to do this. Windows 7 might be a bit different in the wording (I am on Windows 8 and haven't used 7, but I know it resembled Windows XP in several ways), so it could be Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. This way you completely remove the browser and possibly remove any weird conflict the browser was having with the site. I use Chrome myself, and have no problem with receiving sound (Well, I do have a problem with hearing that dang "Check!" sound... but that's all me!)
