yes
NOT the Name of the Game

A feature I would like to see is parametric naming of chess games. If I could reference standard data such as:
name of opponent, date, starting position, ...
I could set up memorable game names easily using a template like this:
<%opponent name> - you make as much sense as an <%starting position>
to create a game name like this:
zombywoof - you make as much sense as an A00: Formation : Cabbage Attack
(no offence to cabbages!)

cornbeef & cabbage...... Yum!!! is that the name of one of your games Artfizz?
Had that for dinner tonight, Fantastic!

Zombywoof eats me for dinner every time I play chess against him! Another case of Goldilocks and the Woof.

Team Match game names are derived from the name used in the challenge. Where an innocuous label such as Challenge! is used, the name of the game (as shown in the Current Games' List) doesn't give any immediate indication which team you are playing against.
At the point of issuing the challenge, it would be useful to have either an option to include the (possibly abbreviated) group names (e.g. Fast vs Team South) - or a reminder to explicitly do so.

I would just love to keep track of my games by numbering them. Then the "Let's Play" goes and spoil it all.

You can avoid Automatically start my game if similar seek is found. to give you control of your own individual game names, but you still have no control over games started by you opponent, tournament games or team matches. This is a situation where separate, user-applied tagging (discussed here ... http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/chesscom-feedback-sort-games-list) would come in handy.

How would you have known? It's not called that over there.

But wouldn't the Guinness mask the taste of the Colcannon?
About half of the time when I Start New Game (an Open Seek NOT for a named opponent), it does not use the name I have specified for the game. Is this likely to be because I have
enabled?
