Pieces disappearing?

I have this problem that started yesterday morning. When my opponent or I move pieces on the board, I hear the noise and the square where the piece moves is highlighted, but the piece itself disappears. I can make it reappear when I right click on the square, but it's time consuming and I typically only play bullet and blitz so time is key. Help?

I had the same problem with my computer. I had a whole rank that you can only see the bottoms of the pawns on the 2nd rank. I discovered that I had the board on simple board. As soon as I switched it from simple board to full board the problem went away. I keep it on full board all the time now. I haven't had any problems since.  John Moyer

I cannot hear the noise when moving anmore since some time. How can I get it back in live chess
