Question about banned members

Prate oni i banuju ga.

The player who has been banned can immediately open a new account and start over.
Unfortunately, it is the hard truth. So we are not absolutely protected from such people. Chess.com must find more effective mechanisms to deal with that kind of players.

" what is the purpose to ban any player, if he can re-register and continue to do the things he did"? You mean like THESE guys?

There should be a system of marking a users name with the symbol "C" before the username after he/she's been caught cheating, in this case either of the other users playing can differentiate between people using softwares and the one's who dont.
This method would also be saving alot of time and make it a more efficient way of spotting out computer usage here.

Only one of them now!

I aslo have a question, especially for someone who knows the answer (a staff member would be great):
How is that some members who are banned get their cheating icon removed. For example
reinoajedrez-com (2102)
This member had his account closed for cheating. I saw the cheating icon by its side. But now the cheating icon is gone. I have never been answered why, and if someone knows, it would be great if they could share that information. Thanks :)

SkyMarshal, that discussion isn't really for the main forum. You can ask in the Cheating Forum though won't guarantee you will get an official answer there either. The other option would be to use the support/contact form.
Hello everyone. I have a question for all of you, especially administrators. When someone is banned in chess.com for cheating or something else, is that person able to register and play again on this page. What is the mechanism when a player is banned here? Do administrators ban only account of that player or they ban his IP to prevent new registration ? I mean, what is the purpose to ban any player, if he can re-register and continue to do the things he did?
