Hi does anyone know if there is a page on chess.com that explains the ratings system in particular std live chess. I just wanted to find out how my rating stands. It is currently 1147 and I would like to know if this is in the biginner or novice or what ever bracket.

It starts at 1200.  So your ratings is kind of bad as it is below it.  A Beginner
