How do you guys get those screenshots- i'm curious.

Hit your printscreen key.
Open paint.
Edit -> Paste.
Crop to perfection.
Save as .jpg
Then click on the little tree button and follow the instructions.

Is that what you mean by screenshots? Or are you asking how to post a game diagram?

yes, thats what i mean. I don't seem to have paint on my computer.

It's under "Accessories" in most versions of Windows.

I just tried that, bastiaan, because I was curious - and when I cntrl+v on my desktop after a prntscrn nothing happens.

I found paint, can't find the "little tree button"

Oh, the tree button I mean is on our post interface here. Look in the box you're able to make comments in in threads.

You'll see a little chess diagram, for posting games, a little tree for inserting images, B for bold, I for italics, etc.

Click the tree and follow the instructions. It'll guide you through to uploading and inserting the cropped screenshot you wanted, or any image for that matter.

how do u save as .jpg? Sorry, not very good with computers.

Once you've suitable cropped your image/ sized it appropriately (I can't stress this enough) and it's time to save, go "Save File" and you'll see a drop down menu that says "save as type".

And you'll see JPEG as an option. GIF and PNG both work, as far as I know also.

Okay, it looks like I made some shots once upon a time. When you get to that screen that asks you for image url, click the little button you see next to it.
