I agree with that -- I've tried sorting by rating, as well as time, and it's painful.
I'd like to view 1900-2000 players doing 10 min games, rather than the microsecond games that are so prevalent.
I'd like to bump this thread -- I often use chess.com as a substitute for
TV. I like watching good players (IMHO 1500+) play longer games like 10 minutes games. It would be cool to be able to filter watching live games by player, rating and time limits.
This is a good bump, tookelso. I enjoy watching chess too, and would love to watch longer time controls from players 1500+.
Sometimes I like to watch others play, it's interesting to see some different styles and approaches. However viewing live games is a chore if you want to view games that are, say: rated, players between 1300 and 1500 and in 5 minute games. Or whatever.
Couldn't we get a some dropdown box choices (rating, game control) so we wouldn't have to wade through 3000 games to view a few games? For your kind consideration...
