internet connection problems

Recently chess.com changed the duration in which we can reconnect if our internet connection is lost in middle or not working due to some problems, from 2 minutes to 1 mintue. 1 minute is a very short duration to reconnet if we are supposed to disconnect and reconnect. Manytimes we does not get connected to internet in the first try so we have to try several that takes time. We should be given at least 2 minutes time to reconnect and play. I have already lost several points manytimes recently because of the short duration in which I should reconnect.

I think most people can reconnect within a few seconds if their connection goes down because of something within their control.

What takes you so long? You aren't rebooting Windows XP computers, are you?

My Huawei data card's software sometimes takes more than 25 seconds to connect, manytimes it connects within two to three seconds. I loose access to internet while being connected disconnecting takes 2 to 3 seconds, if I do not disconnect and try conntecting to the internet within 20 seconds or below  without presuming that I will get net access automatically, I loose the opportunity to get back within 1 minute. That happened today and I lost 8 points and day before yesteday.
