I can't play live chess at all. I can see the board but two white lines are streching over the whole screen and when i click for the new game nothing happens. Only the edges of a new windows that seem to be opening but nothing opens.

Help, please ! Thanks !

Hi LivronJames!

I'm very sorry to hear about this issue :-( But good news, I'm here to help :-)

To better assist you, I need a bit more information, though.

1/ What operating system, browser and browser version are you using?

2/ Can you provide a screenshot of the issue for me? This will help me better understand what is happening.

Here is a guide on how to take a screenshot if you need it: http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

I am using Windows 7 and firefox, 27.0.1.

I also tried to play live chess on other browsers, but it's the same story.

Hmm, this is odd. Can you try clearing your browser's cookies and cache for me to see if that helps?

If you have any addons/extensions installed, can you please disable those as well?

Good news indeed;  glad your back; hope things are well.

I think it has to do with the theme you are using. For some odd reason, the live chess full board doesn't like custom themes.

Every time I use a custom theme, the full board won't work. Try using basic live chess

Hey guys,

thanks for all the help, but nothing doesn't work. I've tried deleting all addons, plugins, cache, history, ran a full scan but nothing seems to work. I've figured out now that there is probably some pop-up malware on my browsers called bestadbid and i've been trying for 3 hours trying to get rid of it but it keeps showing up. There are not any plugins or similar and in control panel there is not a program that is connected to this plugin. I'm really desperate...

Try downloading Google's Chrome web browser then login to to chess.com and report back if you have the same problem or if it is SOLVED.

If the malwares in your browser, I don't think there is anything you can do. Its time for the computer doctor. The're nasty little buggers.
