I was just playing a game on live chess and after my opponent moved his time went from 12sec to 22...i lost on the board but i was winning on time idk if anyone else has said anything

The timeout should have been for my opponent. After my opponent madea  move his time jumped back up from 12sec to 22sec. The resignation was from losing connection.
