Good day, I'm having the same problem, and would like to read the mentioned Knowledgebase atticle, but it seems to have been removed?
very old thread but ....jamaicans usually have a really bad connection.
Actually that's a South African flag, but, yes, I think we may be in the same league with regards to internet speeds... :-P
I'm experiencing this from my iPad, so the article unfortunately does not answer my question. But thanks for the help.
Well I am in the Uk and have not previously had a problem, until they upgraded the site the other day and now the loading lag is so bad, I can't get onto a game !! It just times out. Worse, although I have contacted Chess.com they havent' done anything about it ! Strange as the rest of the site seems to work perfectly, so it can't be anything to do with my laptop.
I have really bad lag almost every game I play. It happens regardless of what my connection is. I lose 2-3 minutes per turn, even though I make my move in 20 - 30 seconds. The clock just jumps from, say 29:30 to 27:13, or something like that. It makes it impossible to play bullet or blitz game types, and nearly impossible to play longer games. I don't know why it's happening.
