Well done. Now that you have the mate set up, you can add in other pieces to make it seem more complicated. Just make sure nothing you add affects the puzzle.

yes, add in other pieces to make it "look" more complicated.  but very straightforward and well put together.

The way I have found that most people make the puzzle is to set up a basic mate, and add more pieces to give it more possibilities and seem more complicated.  Good job on the puzzle, was very well written.
