It's quite likely that he resigned just due to the minus rook, having played until this point out of momentum. Great finish, though.

Played a game today, opponent resigned, and only after some thought I saw why he did it. It turned out there was a nice puzzle at the board. Since there are several outcomes I give you the most fun. Please, enjoy.
