Forum game: Thread Killer

Hey guys!

So this is a new forum game created by the one and only Macer75, called .... "Thread Killer." (spooky music starts playing)

The rules of this game are simple: if you post in this thread, and nobody posts after you within the next 7 days, then you win, and you're declared the Thread Killer, and receive a customized trophy from me. The game will continue on indefinitely, even after one person wins, so there isn't a limit to how many winners there can be. I will not post in this thread except when there is confusion regarding the rules and I have to explain them, and when I do post my posts are not counted.

So... those are all the rules. Simple, right? Now, let the killing begin!

PS: Special thanks to Soorat, who's thread http://www.chess.com/forum/view/off-topic/thread-killer-supreme gave me the idea for this game.

Wow... I hadn't thought of that. The answer is no. If you get the thread locked then you won't win, and I will hate you. So don't get it locked.

Btw, this post is not counted. ToughNinja is still the last one who has posted.

i hated that kid. always tigged me. i had to eat a worm because i lost a tig game in school and everyone copied that kid by being on barley

That's not the same thing. His actions and mine are fundamentally different. He was being mean and childish. I, on the other hand, and nice and (relatively) mature, and I'm only discounting my own comments so that I can post without interfering with the contest, and let other people win.

I propose to modify the game to other threads.

Whoever posts here in advance what thread he proposes to kill, then kills it succesfully for 7 days, receives a trophy.

The killer must say in advance that he is going to kill the thread and post at least once in the thread afterwards. Any post (even the killer's) re-starts the day counter. Locked threads do not count (otherwise you could just "kill" any thread where other posters have sealed its fate by posting something before mod comes).

It's true. This thread is responsible for all that's wrong in the world.

Without this thread we'd have world peace and everyone would get as much ice cream as they wanted for desert every day!!!!

There's nothing wrong with ice cream. The part that's wrong is the "desert" part. You can eat ice cream for dessert, or you can eat ice cream in a desert, but you can't eat ce cream for desert.
