My girlfriend just broke up with me! What do I do???

So this morning we were hanging out at my place, and it was getting pretty boring, so I told her I had an appointment, and left to hang out with some friends. When I came back, she had already left, and she left a note saying that she was "fed up" with me.

I have no idea why she's suddenly breaking up with me, because I felt like our relationship was actually starting to get on the right track. And I don't know what to do now. I really want to get my mind off her, but unfortunately I can't drink legally. Please help me guys - what should I do??

Seriously, I need help!!! Right now I'm both confused and sad, because I have aboslutely no idea why my girlfriend all of a sudden decided to break up with me! Maybe it's another one of those mood swings that girls are always having?

Did you talk to her after you found the note? It's not too late to call her.

I can't, because if I whine on Facebook my girlfriend will see it! In fact, chess.com is the only place in the world where I feel completely safe from my girlfriend. She has no interest in chess whatsoever, so I know she won't create a chess.com account, and she won't be able to see anything that I say here.

I thought of that too, but for some reason I can't find my phone. I know I left it in my room before I left, but I just can't seem to find it now.

That does sound like a plan... except that I never left her. She decided to break up with me - and I have NO IDEA WHY! So what am I supposed to say to her? I don't know what it is about me that you didn;t like, but I can assure you that whatever it is, I;ve changed?

Unfortunately some woman want you to be mindreaders, but just be honest about how special she is.  Do not compare her with any other female while telling her the things that are unique and special about her and of course how beautiful and pretty she is.  You love everything about her and if she would just give you the chance you will prove it to her.  Maybe something about how your world fell apart when you read letter and that you can't think of any other person you'd rather be with.  If there anything I was doing to upset you please tell me.  really good luck, and yea the pk thing works just don't go to far with it..

You can look at this two ways .... As a tragedy or as an opportunity. When I was 21 my girlfriend broke up with me for reasons unknown to me and I made the mistake of not seeing the opportunity she had given me. You are now free to date as many women as you can. Seize the day my friend. The WORST thing you can do is beg her to take you back. First off, she won't and second you'll feel like a soggy newspaper from last week. Don't give her the power. If you want her back, listen closely here is the important part, IGNORE HER! Date other women and maybe,just maybe she'll get jealous and call you. Nothing is more attractive to a woman than a man who is attractive to OTHER women. If you show her she made a mistake by moving on she will go crazy. Or not, maybe she doesn't like you anymore or maybe theres someone else either way dont worry about it. As a chess player you must understand that this is a long term strategy not short term tactics. Dude I'm dead serious. It'll be hard but here's where you become a man. Never grovel to a woman to take you back. They see it as weakness. One day you'll be married to someone, probably not her, and look back and wish you had seized the day.
