Who here has played or currently plays with the Rubik's Cube? Any tips on how to NOT go insane trying to solve it?

Bobcat

put it in your oven for 20 min at 350 f

NomadicKnight

You know, I am at times tempted to...

Bobcat

search it on google....i found the solution on games on line,25 moves or less!

TheDoctor98

I can give you a set of algorithms to solve it if you want. Pretty simple.

Staxis

Look on youtube.  That's how I learned.

Lol.  That takes too long.  Look it up on youtube and you can solve it.  I can do it in like a minute.

LOL.  Wouldn't that ruin your oven?

Sundayfan

how about you learn how to solve it?

A man in England took 26 years to solve his.

Now THAT is some dedication! 26 years?!?! Wow. I just recently saw a video of a guy solving it blindfolded in 28.08 seconds.

Bobcat

it's time to check the oven.

Esquilax1

It was proven in 2010 that the puzzle can be solved in no more than 20 moves every time.  That is to say, 20 moves is always enough (but it's not always required).

God's Number is 20.

NomadicKnight

I heard 17 moves is also possible

Bobcat

I heard a lot of cussing from people trying to solve.

The superflip position was the first one proven to require 20 moves to solve, so, 17 is not always enough.

Mrmath

I've taken apart a Rubik's Cube and put the cubes back together...

Bobcat

Mr.Math....was that before or after you put it in the oven?

Pelaaja_X

The truth is that the cube is much simpler to solve than is looks...you just have to learn a few algorithms. Of course there are faster ways to do it but I recommend beginning with this...
